Neal is the former head of finance for BrightFarms, where he raised more than $80m in equity and debt and pioneered “Produce Purchase Agreements” with blue-chip retailers such as Kroger, Giant, and Walmart. Prior to BrightFarms, Neal served as Vice President of Global Sustainable Finance at Morgan Stanley, where he originated and helped to execute transactions in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Neal previously was a senior policy advisor to Mayor Michael Bloomberg, where he launched an award-winning financing intermediary to scale building energy efficiency improvements. He has also structured and financed large-scale infrastructure projects in sub-Saharan Africa. Neal has a BA from Brown University and received a Master’s in Public Policy and Urban Planning from Harvard University.
Krishnan has developed and invested over $90m in project finance deals and has been involved in the full project lifecycle from early stage project development, financing, and construction through operations management and exit. As a private developer and as an energy advisor to the World Bank, he has been involved in energy projects in 15+ countries and successfully managed investments and exits in multiple markets in Africa and Asia. Krishnan has worked in multiple Global 1000 companies including Unilever, McKinsey, and Macquarie and has managed large (100+) development teams in Silicon Valley (at a firm that is now part of Oracle). Krishnan has a Master’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering and an MBA from MIT.
